Brain Specialist & Spine Surgeon

A/Prof Mark J. Winder

A/Prof Mark J. Winder is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Chairman of Neurosurgery at St Vincent’s Hospital, operating at both St Vincent’s and St Luke’s Hospitals. With over 20 years of experience, he is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a leader in minimally invasive spinal and skull base surgery.

He is actively involved in teaching, research, and developing innovative surgical techniques, holding academic positions at UNSW and the University of Notre Dame. A/Prof Winder focuses on delivering advanced, patient-centred care for complex neurosurgical conditions.

Brain Specialist & Spine Surgeon

Dr Timothy R. Lukins

Dr Timothy R. Lukins is a Consultant Neurosurgeon specialising in minimally invasive neuro-oncology and complex adult spine disorders. He practices at St Vincent’s and St Luke’s Hospitals, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Lukins has completed advanced fellowships in neuro-oncology and adult spinal disorders in Australia and the USA, and holds a Conjoint Lecturer position at UNSW. He is actively involved in research, teaching, and delivering innovative, patient-centred neurosurgical care.
